The role of the community health department is to provide leadership to the public health and medical communities in a coordinated effort to detect, respond to, and prevent illness. Programs administered by the health department include:
- Women’s Health Care
- Care Resource Coordination
- Immunizations for all ages
- Women, Infant, and Children (WIC)
- Kan-Be-Healthy Screenings
- Maternal & Child Health (formerly Healthy Start)
- Services with Home Visitor
- Special Health Care Needs (SHCN)
- Chronic Disease Risk Reduction
- Disease Investigation & Containment
- Nurse assessments and limited labs

Monday
COVID-19 Vaccines are available by appointment only on Mondays from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM, and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- COVID-19 vaccines being offered: Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech/COMIRNATY (Availability of vaccines are subject to supply.)
Appointments are scheduled from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Services available on these days:
- Blood pressure and pulse
- Blood sugar
- General counseling
- Hemoglobin
- Immunizations
- Injections (must have a doctor’s order)
- TB testing
- Urinalysis
Wednesday
Appointments from 8:00 am to 12:00 PM, and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Flu Vaccine Clinic
- Women's Health Care
- TB Testing
Thursday
Appointments are scheduled from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Services available on these days:
- Blood pressure and pulse
- Blood sugar

- Hemoglobin
- Immunizations
- Injections (must have a doctor’s order)
- Urinalysis
