Enjoy a day trip to the country featuring clean air and a rural heritage.
A free self-guided tour, you can visit as many tour stops as you like while traveling in the comfort of your own vehicle. We ask that guardians supervise all children and promote respect for property, plants and animals while visiting the stops. Please leave your pets at home – but remember to bring your camera!

Stop # 1: 4 D Acres

Enjoy an entertaining and educational trip to 4 D Acres. Learn about this prehistoric animal and what it takes to raise the emu, a modern day dinosaur. Hear the relaxing sounds of the adult emu and the whistling sounds of the baby chicks. Meet Blue, our mascot, and Barney, our pet. A guard llama, Sambo, protects the chicks. Emu oil products and the low fat, heart healthy emu meat will be available for purchase, so bring your cooler.

Come Taste the Freshness! Louisburg Cider Mill, 14730 W. K-68 Highway Saturday, May 8, and Sunday, May 9 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Slow Food Kansas City will have guest chefs from Timbercreek, Beethoven's and Casa Somerset Catering providing cooking demonstrations using the products produced by farm tour participants. Samples will be available.
