Department Function:

The role of the Community Health Department is to provice leadership to the public health and medical communities in a coordinated effort to detect, respond to, and prevent illness. Programs administered by the Health Department include:

• Home Health
• Family Planning
• Immunizations
• Women, Infant, & Children (WIC)
• Day Care Licensing
• Kan-Be-Healthy Screenings
• Healthy Start

Weekly schedule of services provided:

• Monday-Appointment only
  
• Tuesday and Thursday-8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Walk-In Services
    • Blood Pressure and Pulse
    • Hemoglobin
    • Urinalysis
    • Blood Sugar
    • Injections (with doctor's order)
    • General Counseling
    • Immunizations
    • TB testing one ONLY on Tuesday 8-12 and 1-4 and Wednesday 4-6
• Wednesday-
  • Family Planning Clinic 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Walk-In Services 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
  • Family Planning Services 4:00 tp 6:00 p.m.
    
• Thursday-8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Walk-In Services; No TB, No Family Planning
